Winners 2009 Christmas Lights Competition
Firstly everyone who puts up Christmas lights is a winner in our view. Its not about the prizes its about creating Christmas spirit so we congradulate everyone who participated and even those who didnt but put lights up in some small way.
Our Winers for this year's competition were:
Overall Winner, B & E Wyatt 606 Linton Ave. What and outstanding display 3rd time winner.
Best Window B Collet 109 Fernleigh Glade, big Santa great effort.
Best Garden P & W Dowling 103 Chevron Cres, excellent use of edges and dark spaces
Best Tree B Watson 410 Otahu Rd, huge tree display even had a star on the top
Best Wall G Watson 121 Onemana Drive, Santa on a sleigh and raindeer- spectacular!
Best Verandah W & L Claridge Spiral lights up the collums very effective use of colours
Best Figurine J & R Bell 115 Chevron Crescent Lots of figurines a great display!
Voters prize draw went to L Finn.
We'd like to make a special thanks to the residents of Chevron Crescent for theyre outstanding united efforts to make this street a please to drive down over the Christmas break.
